the chimney is the community pub of Kibbutz HaMa'apil, located in the east of the Emek Hefer Regional Council, and is a non-profit organization. The pub is operated entirely by male and female volunteers from the kibbutz, who warmly host the general public. the chimney Pub regularly hosts several live music performances of various styles every week: From indie performances by interesting singer-songwriters, through original band shows, band nights, and tribute and cover shows. The pastoral and picturesque pub was renovated and reopened at the beginning of 2022, after many years, and quickly became the central arena of the local live music scene. After several months of activity, the place served as the inspiration for the establishment of the "Emek Hofa'ot" (Valley of Shows) initiative, which over time became the live music map in Emek Hefer - from the Sharon region to the Carmel Coast. The pub has a luxurious multi-part balcony, while the performance hall and entrance lobby are non-smoking areas. The venue features a wide stage, a sophisticated sound system, professional sound, and a drinks bar with affordable prices.
